First IEEEP2407 Workshop, January 2007

The first workshop of the IEEEP2407 working group was hosted by Motorola and Kingston University's Mobile Information and Network Technologies Research Centre (MINT@K).

Wednesday and Thursday, 24-25 January, 2007. NOTE: The sessions will start at 11:00 hr. London time to accomodate those calling in from the Americas.

A conference telephone bridge was provided at no cost for joining the conference call.

Why Now?

Gather critical mass of stakeholders, agree on action plan, start work on standard, F/OSS Reference Implementation.

What are the Expected Outcomes?

Project plan for next 36 months; appoint owners for Action Items; parameters to select software development leader.

Who Should Attend?

Professionals committed to building a citizen-centric and -owned ICT infrastructure to enhance health globally.

How?

Register below by 15 January, 2007. REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.
There is a BP£200 registration fee (includes lunch, breaks, materials). The registration fee will help to defray some of the costs associated with hosting this event. Please bring cash to the meeting.

The meeting will be conducted in English.
